What’s your pet peeve?

When people misuse the words they’re, their, and there in sentences.

What are your fondest memories from one of your travels?

Being alone on the beach and watching the sun set.

Where do you see yourself five years from now?

I would still be living in Cebu. Cebu is home and like the popular saying goes: “Home is where the heart is.”

What’s the best thing about living in the Philippines?

Definitely the beaches.

What do you miss the most about your childhood?

I miss waking up early on weekends and to watch cartoons with my brothers.

Have you ever seen an alien or UFO in real life?

Sadly, no. But I would like to see one someday.

What is your go-to karaoke song?

“Each Day with You” by Martin Nievera

If you could live somewhere else in the world, where would it be and why?

Prague. I’ve seen how stunning the city is in pictures and videos. I love their Gothic churches and the feeling of being in an old city.

What would you name your car if you had one?

Cardo

If you got arrested for no reason, what crime will your friends think you committed?

I’d probably get arrested for my honesty.

Best and worst thing you’ve ever purchased?

Best thing? Definitely my phone. Worst thing? It would have to be a shirt that I bought online. It just didn’t look as good in real life as it did in the photos.

What’s the best news you’ve heard recently?

I’m going to have another nephew.

Tell us a scary story that happened to you in real life.

Our house sits on one of the foothills in Cebu and the back of our house is a little dark. One night while I was washing the dishes, I gazed at the window above the kitchen sink and I saw two red bright eyes watching me. As frightening as it was, I kept my cool and hoped that it would just go away. And it did.

What’s the best lesson you’ve learned from a heartbreak?

That nothing is permanent and that all the pain will eventually pass.

If you could choose a different name for yourself, what would it be and why?

Not really a different name. But I’d lose my second name, Julius. It’s just too common.

What do you do to entertain yourself when you’re bored?

I watch movies on Netflix or at the cinemas.

What was your least favorite subject in school and why?

Filipino. I’ve always had a hard time speaking and deciphering it.

What do you usually snack on when watching a movie?

Cheese fries with cheese sauce.

Which trend or piece of clothing would you never wear?

Those bulky shoes that Dua Lipa wears.

What do you think about selfies?

It’s somewhat narcissistic. Besides, I have trouble holding the camera/phone with one hand, so I’m not really into it.
